Trellis offers a range of advanced settings that give experienced advertisers greater control over how their campaigns operate.

These tools help you:

  • Refine how keywords and ASINs are discovered and harvested.

  • Adjust bid behavior to balance growth and profitability.

  • Customize campaign automation, pacing, and placement strategies.

You can access all of these options under Configuration → Campaign Settings → Advanced Settings within any Media Plan.

Discovery & Harvesting Enables Trellis to analyze target data to discover new keywords and ASINs. Includes Auto Campaigns, Keyword Harvesting, and ASIN Harvesting settings. Use when you want Trellis to expand targeting automatically and learn which keywords drive conversions.
Optimization Strategies Choose how Trellis manages bids within your ACOS range — options include ROAS Boost, GrowthMax, Product Launch, and Only Rules. Use to control whether campaigns focus on profitability, growth, or manual rule logic.
Match Types & Tunneling Defines how closely your ads match customer search queries (Exact, Phrase, Broad). Trellis uses Tunneling to automatically shift spend from Broad → Phrase → Exact as performance improves. Use to balance reach and efficiency while letting Trellis focus spend on high-performing keywords.
Bid Ranges Set min/max bids to ensure bids remain within the range that you prefer. Use to control how the system adjusts your bids up and down.
Rule Programs Setup Rules Programs to customize the behaviour of bids and changes to your campaigns. Use to control how the system is bidding based on your custom rulesets.
