How to Enroll Non-Trellis Managed (NTM) Media Campaigns to Trellis
- Select the ads you want to have Trellis manage going forward. You can use a filter in our system to quickly pull up the non-managed ads by selecting NTM Ad Status = Non Managed.
- Click on Bulk Actions > Import Keywords and Targets.
- Click Confirm.
*Note: You may see a note about Sponsored Display (SD) media campaigns if you have selected any of those. Please remember that Amazon will not allow for SD ads to be managed by a third party.
- Once you have enrolled the media campaigns, you will need to have the system accept the bids in order for Trellis to begin managing them for you, which you can also do in bulk. Select the ads you have just enrolled, and click Bulk Actions > Manage Imported Media Plans.
- Click Confirm.
Once you have gone through this last step, the system will begin to manage the bids for your active Media Campaigns.
Best Practices:
1. Import Previous Ads
To start optimizing your campaigns, import your previous ads as soon as possible. Trellis captures real-time data, and after 7-10 days, it gathers enough insights to manage bids effectively.
2. Review Budgets
Once ads are imported, review your budget to ensure it aligns with your goals. If your budget is high but underutilized, Trellis may increase bids to optimize spending, which could impact ACOS.
Tip: Be mindful of campaigns with many keywords. Trellis will test them all, which may lead to inefficient spending.
