Setting Bid Ranges
Control how high or low Trellis can bid for your keywords and product targets — and decide whether bids should move automatically.
Overview
The Bid Range setting defines the minimum and maximum bid Trellis can place for each keyword or target.
These limits act as guardrails for the optimization engine, ensuring your bids remain competitive but never exceed your comfort zone.
You’ll find this in Advanced Settings → Bid Range.
Setting a Bid Range
| Field | Description | Example |
|---|---|---|
| Min Bid | The lowest amount Trellis will ever bid for a click. Helps maintain baseline visibility for low-volume terms. | $0.30 |
| Max Bid | The highest amount Trellis will ever bid. Prevents overspending in competitive auctions. | $2.00 |
💡 Trellis dynamically moves bids within this range based on ACoS performance and placement opportunity.
Pause Bid Optimization
When this toggle is enabled, Trellis stops automatically adjusting bids for that campaign or target.
Bids remain fixed until you manually change them.
Use when:
-
Testing new keywords manually.
-
Wanting full manual control for a short period.
Example:
You’re experimenting with a small set of high-volume keywords. Turning off automatic optimization keeps Trellis from intervening while you manually test performance.
